Krishna and Radha

This painting belongs to the Pahari school of painting which depicts Krishna and Radha seated on the trunk of a tree under a green tree full of flowers and are engaged in conversation. Krishna is blue complexioned, wears a mukuta, a black cloth partly covering the upper portion, yellow turban and shorts. Radha is fair complexioned, black hair, tresses falling at the back, clear black eyes, wears a green coloured choli, an orange coloured sari with a border of golden colour. She also wears malas of pearls with a pendant, era-rings, bangles, fingers are dyed red. A blue cow is standing amidst a cluster of trees. It has a blue sky and badly damaged buff border.
