This painting belongs to the Pahari school of painting which depicts Krishna and Radha sitting on the trunk of a flowering tree. Branches of another tree with flowers are above their heads. Further is an extensive green ground where two cows are seen and beyond are houses and green trees. Krishna is blue complexioned. He wears a yellow coloured pugree and a garland with strings of flowers are tied to it. He also wears striped shorts of yellow colour, a black cloth thrown round the shoulders and falling, also wears a large garland of flowers, malas of pearls. He holds a flute in his hands and is looking towards Radha who sits to his left. Radha is far complexioned, has clear black eyes, black hair on the head, wears a green coloured choli, red coloured ghagra with black stripes and yellow borders, an ordhni. She also wears pearl necklaces, armlets, bangles, fore-fingers and lips are dyed red. It has a blue sky and red border with a black-blue on one side only.
