Brahma

A Deccani, Shorapur style of painting, created on paper using watercolors. The painting shows a four-headed and four-armed seated Brahma on the right side. A lady devotee with folded hands is seen seated on the left side. Behind her a female attendant is standing holding a flywhisk. In between the seated persons, there is fire alter. Damaged. In this painting, the Brahma is in dhoti, angvastra and mukut on his head and the ladies are dressed in ghanghara choli and odhani. Painting is illustrated in Devanagari script on top.
