A mahaut (elephant rider) is sitting on the elephant and is wearing a red and golden turban, yellow jama (upper garment), black flowered patka (sash), ornaments and a garland. He is holding goad in his hands. The reverse side of this painting has a pencil sketch of an elephant with a mahaut and a nobleman on its back.
