This painting belongs to the Pahari school of painting which depicts Lakshmi and Narayana are seated on a lotus flower. Lakshmi is fair complexioned, wears a yellow-green choli, orange coloured ghagra and an ordhni of white colour with golden dots, also wears ear-rings, nose ring, malas of pearls, armlets, bangles, the upper portion of fingers are dyed red, lips are also dyed red, eyes are clear, the face is rather small. She sits with folded hands. Narayana is blue complexioned, has black hair, clear black eyes, wears a mukuta, ear-rings with pearls, malas of pearls, and also wears a yellow coloured dhoti. In his two left hands, he holds gada and chakra, the other two hands are not visible, green shrubs on the ground, a creeper on the right side. It has a blue sky and red background with a black border.
