This painting belongs to the Pahari school of painting which depicts the Nayaka goes to a groove to meet her lover. A bed is prepared under the flowering trees. In the meanwhile, clouds gather in the sky and raindrops fall. The Nayaka who has been waiting for her lover is bewildered. She is looking toward the sky. She is fair complexioned, has black eyes, black hair, tresses falling at the back, hands are dyed red, wears a red coloured ghagra with white designs, a mauve coloured choli and a light blue coloured orhni with borders, is decked with ornaments. She wears malas of pearls, ear-rings, nose ring, malas of pearls on the head, armlets etc. It has the spiral chocolate background, clouds in the black sky and orange-red border on one side only.
