This painting belongs to the Pahari school of painting in which Guru Nanak is conversing with Qazi Ruknuddin, who is seated in a hut. Bala is standing behind the Guru and holding a fly whisk in his hand while Mardana is seated with a musical instrument with the Guru. There is an inscription text at the back.
