Krishna's Birth Scene

A Rajasthani style of painting created using water colour. The painting is illustrated in Devanagari script. Man in bagalbandi, kamarband and mukut. Ladies in ghagra, choli and odhani. Some are in dhoti. The scene depicts birth of Vishnu as Shri Krishna in Mathura in a prison. On left the gaurds or Dwarpals are seen sleeping at the time of Krishna birth. The Front folio shows at the bottom Vasudev seated.
