Ahom-Buranji: From the Earliest Time to the End of Ahom Rule

This is a bilingual work containing a court history of the Ahom kingdom in the original Ahom language along with its English translation. The narrative starts from the beginning of time, with the creation of the world and contains the story of ‘Lengdon’ - the Lord of Heaven. It lays down the genealogical links of the Ahoms with the Divinity. The work gives a chronology of various Ahom rulers and their activities, right up to the end of their rule in Assam.
