This is an interesting account set in the ‘Valley of Kashmir’ in the ‘feudatory state of Jammu and Kashmir’. The narrative is that of a school established by Rev. J J Knowles in Srinagar in AD 1880 and its subsequent developments. It has a total of seventeen chapters, a large number of illustrations, a map of Kashmir, an appendix and an index.
