This collection includes official papers signed between the states of Jammu and Kashmir, Sikkim, province of Assam, Burma and the Government of India from the 1800s to 1929 where each part separately contains the documents of the above-mentioned territories respectively. These official papers concern the exchange of land, construction of railways, telegraphs and postage services, control, discipline and maintenance of troops, lease, transfer and cessation of land as well as treaties of friendship and allegiance, agreements of feudal submission and treaties concerning commerce and trade, communication, and terms of peace.
