A History of the Military Transactions of the British Nation in Indostan Vol. II

This book is primarily about the affairs in the Coromandel between 1758 to 1761 . The work provides extensive information on wars fought therein, describing not only military actions of the British, but also important decisions and their impact. Apart from describing the English Military activities, the author also gives a long account of the French armed forces, their weapons, war techniques, number of soldiers, etc. Besides, the book includes a lengthy narrative of the Siege of Fort St. George in 1759, and the Battle of Wandiwash.
