Children play in the park near the Birla Mandir Temple in Delhi. The Birla Mandir Temple (also known as Laxminarayan Temple) in Delhi was built in 1938. It was inaugurated by Mahatma Gandhi on the express condition that people of all castes and especially untouchables would be allowed in.
