Believes the war will be over in the next two years. Notes that the activities of the Third Army are much in the news. Asks Edith if she wants to move to Kashmir with him after he read an article on it, described at length. Thinks the Army should issue the Heatabs heating device to everyone and asks whether Edith's brother Jack can figure out a way to make that happen.
