Research in Progress Pieced rectangular panel of fine white wool twill with deep borders on four sides of closely-set, right-facing peacocks with scrolled tails that alternate with small cypress trees rising from an urn. Fine floral motifs fill spaces in between. Embroidered design of cypress and paisley fill the central field. Set-in end borders.
