Research in Progress Square "moon shawl" with guard borders on four sides and fringed borders at warp ends only. Broad vertical stripes of red, yellow and white with floral cones, separated by narrow stripes of dark blue. Circular central medallion, with a quarter-circle medallions in each corner with stylized floral filling in blues and red on pink and white ground. Coarse woven border with stylized floral motifs on four sides. Separate borders top and bottom imitate fringed warp ends.
