Research in Progress Shawl border fragment in a delicate leaf and flower pattern with a superimposed symmetrical design of four-lobed medallions formed from tangent arabesques. Floral guard band with decorated guard strips. Bright turquoise, purples, greens, tans, and brown on a beige and tan ground. One raw edge, one loom ending, and reinforced selvedges on long sides.
