Research in Progress Panel or blanket used as dress for women; dark red handwoven cotton, with horizontal rib, decorated with stripes brocaded in yellow, in the warp. Piece consists of three breadths, 17 1/2" wide in the center, 19 1/2" wide at the sides. Side panels woven with group of shaded stripes and narrow brocaded patterns. Warp fringe of yellow and red.
