Research in Progress Panel made up of two kinds of silk in the same design. Center section of the panel is red with small indefinable leaf pattern of brocaded metallic thread. Five inch border is blue in the same design. Corners are made of squares of less fine, blue brocaded fabric. One selvage present on the red textile indicates machine manufacture.
