Research in Progress Set of seven brass stamps in shape representing vaguely a little boat with flat underside patterned with irregular circular and linear motifs. Underside fastened by braided brass strop work to top, terminated in handle with large hole through which string or wire can be strung. Meant for functional purpose, such as stamping surface of either paper, textile, wood, leather or human hands or feet.
