Research in Progress Rectangular table mat made up of six pieces of probably much larger dark blue cotton hanging embroidered in course counted darning stitch in silk flosses in brilliant colors, each piece with large ungainly motive: crude pomegranate-like form, scalloped square enclosing quatrefoil, scalloped enclosing tulip.
