Medical Missionary, BM Johannes Johansen (1873-1943). Sent by Danish Santal Mission to Benagaria in December 1902 and returned to Denmark in August 1903. The official reason was Mrs Ellen Johansen's health problems, but also disagreements regarding the purpose of Medical Mission and organization of medical work in the area. Photo ca. 1900.
