Tinted lantern slide showing a group of men from an indigenous tribe in Northern India. Some of the men pose with weapons, and children can be seen in the background. The men wear loin-cloths, and the two men at the front of the photo wear jerkins. The oldest man in the picture wears a turban. Log houses can be seen in the background. These men may be from a tribe of the Naga peoples. This slide comes from a collection created by missionaries from Regions Beyond Missionary Union, an interdenominational Protestant evangelical mission working in northeast India (Bihar and Orissa) and Nepal.
