Basket making, India, ca. 1930

Black and white lantern slide showing two Indian men making baskets. The two men make basket frames, whilst a complete overturned wicker basket lies behind one of the men. The men sit in front of a thatched building in their village. This slide comes from a collection created by missionaries from Regions Beyond Missionary Union, an interdenominational Protestant evangelical mission working in northeast India (Bihar and Orissa) and Nepal.
