Black and white lantern slide showing a large group photograph taken at a Christian wedding in Bihar, India. There are two Indian married couples in the photograph, who stand at the centre of the group. The brides wear white saris and veils, and the grooms wear garlands around their necks and high collared jackets (or sherwanis.) This slide comes from a collection created by missionaries from Regions Beyond Missionary Union, an interdenominational Protestant evangelical mission working in northeast India (Bihar and Orissa) and Nepal.
