"Teesta River, Sikkim". Landscape showing the Teesta River which originates from Cholamu Lake and runs the length of the State of Sikkim. Two figures stand a top of a large boulder, one of many making up the river bank. Heavy tree growth starts further up the bank showing the heights the river can reach during the monsoon. ❧ This image belongs to an album of photographs collected by Dr. Stevenson and includes images from India, China and Africa.
