"At the Mure Memorial Hospital - Dr Bartholomew and a friend with a patient". Portrait of Doctor Bartholomew with an elderly patient standing outside the hospital building. The Mure Memorial Hospital was founded in 1896 by Dr Agnes Elizabeth Henderson, daughter of Sir William Henderson, she arrived in Nagpur in 1890. She retired from work in 1922 but continued to raise significant sums of money for the hospital. Doctor Henderson died in December 1925, and as a tribute to her memory the Church at Nagpur was named after her.
