"The Bible Barrow on a city round." External view of crowd of people gathered around a barrow of bibles. Bhandara was a development of the work happening in Nagpur and extended most in the 1880s, with the opening of a new mission station there. When the mission was first set up here, only 4 per cent of men could read and write.
