Black and white lantern slide showing a view of the railway station at Motihari in Bihar, north-eastern India. Regions Beyond Missionary Union opened their first mission station in India in Motihari in 1900. Several figures wander on the platform, including a male European missionary, next to whom stands a small dog. The original commentary to the slide reads: "Motihari Station, with one of our missionaries on the platform." This slide comes from a collection created by missionaries from Regions Beyond Missionary Union, an interdenominational Protestant evangelical mission working in northeast India (Bihar and Orissa) and Nepal.
