Border: The recto and the verso are set in multicolored rulings on a cream ground with gold floral motifs. Colophon: "the writing of the second book of the Silsilat al-dhahab was finished in Ramadan the year [A.H.] 964 [A.D. June-July 1557]." To 1946 Hagop Kevorkian (1872-1962), New York.
