Border: The recto is set in multicolored rulings on a cream ground with gold floral motifs. Bottom page rectangular-triangular panels: "The first book (daftar) of the Silsilat al-dhahab was written by the high order of his highness, the celebrated, the successful, the world-mastering Khusraw (a Sasanian king known for his justice) as mighty as the heavens, the just, the perfect, the virtuous Abu'l-Fath Sultan Ibrahim Mirza al-Husayni al-Safavi, by the hand of the lowly (and) lowliest of his servants Malik al-Daylami in Dhu'l-hijja the year [A.H.] 963, [A.D.
