Sackler Gallery Archives. According to Curatorial Remark 1 in the object record, there is no record of purchase for this object, other than the recorded value of the lot of thirteen pieces (F1907.677- 689) of which this object is part. [2] The original deed of Charles Lang Freer's gift was signed in 1906. The collection was received in 1920 upon the completion of the Freer Gallery.
