Preserving biodiversity is vitally important. Bees are the most important natural pollinators of plants, and thus contribute substantially to biodiversity. In Nepal, beekeepers are fighting for the survival of indigenous honeybees. They are also being introduced to technological innovations that can help them harvest honey more efficiently.
