Water is a major problem in Rajasthan in India's north-west. In recent years, drought and climate change impacts have forced many farmers to leave their homes and move away. Locals in Laporiya village, south west of the state capital Jaipur, have survived, thanks to innovative conservation practices, adding improvisation and innovation to traditional knowledge.
