Context The mask can be used to represent two different characters, namely the overseer of the Vädda group, and a fisherman, both appear in the story portion in Kolam. Material Wood, vel-kaduru (Sin.) (Nux vomica). Iconography A polished face with an ash-grey complexion. Two tiny, ash-grey ears with a red border, rudimentarily and crudely carved. The head-dress is in the shape of a black cap. A broad nose in triangular form. The moustache is drawn in black and is curved upwards at the ends. A closed mouth with lips painted in red.
