Material Wood, vel-kaduru (Sin.) (Nux vomica). Iconography The open mouth is elongated and similar to an animal's snout. It is painted in red orpiment. Hair is painted around the mouth in thick black lines. The teeth are long and carnivorous. These are painted in white with a thin red line. The lower jaw is movable. The nose is dented and the nostrils drilled and turned upwards. Protruding eyes. The eyebrows are ornamented with the usual petal motif, pala peti (Sin.). The headdress is composed of two parts.
