Context Stage two in a Kolam performance. Material Wood, vel-kaduru (Sin.) (Nux vomica). Iconography The mask displays characteristics similar to specimen no. 1916.9.319, except that it has the two ear-discs. The face is red and the gums are reddish yellow. The mouth is half-open, displaying the two sets of teeth. The nose is strong. The upper structure of the mask is in three tiers ornamented with the usual petal motifs in red, yellow and black.
