Context This character appears in two contexts: as a foreign merchant in the story known as Gon-koti Kathava (vide Preface), and in a witty and humorous episode called Tambi Kolama. Material Wood, Vel-kaduru (Nux vomica). Iconography The fez is lower in height compared to that in 1916.9.97. It is decorated with square designs in pink and yellow. The colour of the face is pink, which is not common for masks depicting Moorish men. Both sets of teeth are shown, painted in white amidst pink lips. Two small ears, also in pink.
