India Dansdräkt som som kommit till museet genom gåva av f.d. chefen för Dansmuseet Bengt Häger. Dräkten har tillhört hustrun Lilavati som är den indiska klassiska 1900-tals dansens förgrundsfigur. Ett 20-tal dräkter ingår i gåvan, klassiska indisk dräkt, och dräkt som övrgår mot modern indisk dans. Lilavati kom till Sverige på 1950-talet, och har gjort ett stort antal föreställningar. Kjol av röd textil (siden?) med dekorationer av metallpaljetter, glaspärlor. spegelbroderier och applikationsbroderi. 2/3 (nederdelen) är fodrad med bomullstyg. Några av paljetterna och pärlorna har lossnat. Smutsig, skrynklig. India Dance costume that has come to the museum by gift from the former director of the Dansmuseum Bengt Hägar.
