India Dansdräkt som som kommit till museet genom gåva av f.d. chefen för Dansmuseet Bengt Häger. Dräkten har tillhört hustrun Lilavati som är den indiska klassiska 1900-tals dansens förgrundsfigur. Ett 20-tal dräkter ingår i gåvan, klassiska indisk dräkt, och dräkt som övrgår mot modern indisk dans. Lilavati kom till Sverige på 1950-talet, och har gjort ett stort antal föreställningar. Kjol i form av ett långt rött tygstycke som lindas runt midjan, i tyget invävt rikligt med metalltrådar. Ett veckat parti framtill. Tygstycket avslutas med att tyget är hopsytt i drapering. Dräktdelen ska användas ihop med del A, B,C i vitt siden. På klädpåsen som dräkten låg i satt en dymolapp märkt ¿Kali¿. Plagget är lappat och lagat på flera ställen. Revor. Smutsigt och skrynlkigt.
