Mahatma Gandhi returns to the political arena._x000D_ Mahatma Gandhi, who is again taking a prominent part in Indian political affairs, opened the All India Swadesi Exhibition at Vithalnager , Haripura, where the 51st annual session of the Indian National Congress is taking place._x000D_ The Working Committee of Congress, has adopted a resolution drafted by Mr Gandhi, declaring that Congress is reluctant to instruct provincial Ministries to resign and does not wish to precipitate a crisis involving threats to the principle of non-violence. India is in the throes of its first crisis under the New Constitution of last April, following the refusal of various Governors to release political prisoners, as demanded by Congress._x000D_ 22 February 1938
