Bhaktapur Durbar Square, built around the early 17th century. According to legends, there were 99 courtyards attached to this palace. Most of the areas were destroyed in by the great earthquake in 1934. Basantapur Palace in the center left was rebuilt again, and today houses the National Art Gallery.
