At Kharikobot (the tree under which the Rana Prime Minister Chandra Shamsher read out their proclamaitons, in existence until the 1960s) in Tundikhel. Prime Minister Chandra Shamsher, in the presence of His Majesty King Tribhuvan announces the emancipation of slave on 28 November 1924.
