The pagoda temple, to the left, was constructed by Queen Tripura Sundari in 1828 in memory of her husband King Rana bahadur Shah. Jung Bahadur Rana had the Narayan Temple built in 1875 The small bridge to the left of it spans the Kukucha River, which joins the Bagmati to form Kal Mochan Tirtha and Ghat.
