Plain wooden covers on both sides of these manuscripts. The title of the manuscript engraved in the first leaf of this manuscript. Brahmans is the second part of Vedic lore after Samhita. They are also a collected work which forms a commentary on the four Veda samhita. It contains explanation for some Vedic hymns. The Brahmans are particularly important for their instructions on the proper performance of rituals, as well as explain the symbolic importance of sacred words and ritual actions in the Samhita.
