As the title suggests, it is an illustrated, pictorial booklet shows the various projects executed by Punjab government to improve infrastructure and living standard of the rural population of the state. These projects were taken up under the community Development Programme started by Govt. of India in 1952. The whole state was divided in 116 blocks and development projects of providing electricity, irrigation, roads, dairy farming, etc were undertaken. The photographs show the nature of projects. The booklet provides a glimpse into the multiple developments in Punjab after 1952
