Draft of The Sikh Gurdwaras Bill,1999

Following a notification by the Ministry of Home Affairs, Govt. of India in the year 1999, and a draft of the proposed All India Gurdwara's Bill was sought to be prepared under the Chairmanship of Chief Justice Harbans Singh (Retd). This document contains the draft of this bill. It includes definitions and specific provisions for all the issues concerning jurisdiction, management, eligibility of elected members and voters, administration. The draft is quite clear, gives specific guidelines and leaves no ambiguity of any kind about the fundamental organs of Sikh Gurdwaras.
