[...] The roll strength in the Girls' department was 723 in March and 686 in December 1951.( 30 ) Marticulation Results :—Due to the sudden and -unexpected stiffening < of the standard of the Matriculation Examination by the Calcutta University the results of the examination in the year under review were not as satisfactory as they were exepected to be. [...] The Headmaster hoisted the National Flag and delivered a speach dwelling on the significance of the function and the duties of all citizens specially of the students under the new constitution.
