[...] TFrE EARLY PARISAD SRI RAM SHARAN SHARMA The article seeks to throw light on the nature of the early parisad to which there are numerous references not only in the narrative portions of the Mahabharata and the Puranas but also in the original parts of the Rigveda in the Atharvaveda Brahmanas Upanisads and the Grihyasutras.
