He may delegate the maintenance of the cash account and contingent registers to the Additional Superintendent but shall satisfy himself that the latter officer is exercising a careful scrutiny Responsibility of the Superintendent for the general control of the police and the work to be allotted to an Additional Superintendent of Police.
